Class Info
All classes are taught by sensitive, well trained teachers and are suitable for all levels of practice. Classes run approximately 90 minutes. Wear comfortable clothing, with a stretchy waist.  Avoid eating a large meal before class.  Please refrain from the use of fragrances, as some people are sensitive or allergic to them.

Class Descriptions

Hatha Yoga – A physical practice that unifies the body, the mind, the heart and the spirit. With integration of intention, breath and posture (asana), gradually you increase flexibility, strength, balance, concentration and relaxation. Maintains the healthy function of joints, organs and gland systems. The practice of Yoga brings a state of clarity, focus, physical power and a sense of peace and grace.

Tri Yoga - The essence of TriYoga is the flow. The postures, precisely sequenced for maximum benefit, flow from one to the next while synchronized with the breath. Relaxation in action and wavelike spinal movements contribute to maintaining the flow. With a relaxed body, rythmic breath, and a calm mind, your energy level will increase.

Level 1 (L1) – Foundational yoga practice emphasizing basic postures (asana) with awareness of breath and good form. Must be able to move up and down with ease from the floor. Appropriate for everybody.

Level 2 (L2) – Practice with more variety of asanas such as sun salute, basic standing poses, backbends and forward bends with the use of props. Emphasis on expanding, and deepening skills, improving strength, flexibility, and balance. For those with some yoga experience.

Mixed Level (ML) - Classes suitable for all levels.

Style Descriptions
Amrit – A dynamically active and deeply engaging meditative approach to yoga that systematically builds the ancient philosophy of yoga directly into the asana practice.

Vinyasa – A traditional Hatha yoga practice which focuses on breath and movement, awareness and alignment, strength and flexibility. Slow, dynamic, fluid movement; the asanas are connected through breath for a transformative and balancing effect.

Tri Yoga - Is an internationally recognized form, it is a synchronized flow of body, breath and mind. Harmonize the flow of body movement with concentration and simple breathing techniques. Relaxation –in-action and wavelike spinal movements contribute to maintaining the flow.

Meditation – Widely recognized as a valuable technique for managing life, health and stress. Meditation brings the individual into contact with one’s natural intellligence using breath and sometimes sound and imagery to focus and center one’s awareness and intention.

Pranayam – A traditional yogic practice using conscious breath to cultivate the vital energies (prana) of the body.
